We’re so excited for THE CALL! The Call is a student weekend dedicated to helping students grow in their relationship with God and their relationships with each other. In order for The Call to be effective, it requires the work of volunteers to help provide opportunities for our students to Know, Follow, & Share Jesus. Check out the various ways you may be able to volunteer, and register today to help at The Call.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Host Home

• Host Homes are an amazing way to bring students into your home, allowing you to show them kindness, extend hospitality, and provide rest. Students will arrive at your home on Friday night and leave on Sunday morning, with time at your home on Friday Night, Saturday Afternoon, and Saturday Night. Host Homes will provide dinner for students on Saturday Night, as well as making snacks throughout the weekend (snacks may be provided through FSM).

Breakout Leader

• Breakout Leaders give space for students to grow in their faith and share their heart throughout the weekend of The Call. They will build and strengthen relationships with the students, providing support and guidance throughout the weekend. Breakout Leaders will lead their group of students throughout the weekend, and are encouraged to stay with them at their Host Homes.

Driver

• Drivers are essential to making The Call a success. Drivers will transport students to and from their Host Homes, their service activities, and other events during The Call. Drivers will be assigned by the FSM Program Coordinator and deployed throughout the weekend, enabling students to be at their destinations at the right time. 

Cook Team (Saturday)

• Cook Team will provide breakfast and lunch for our students on Saturday of The Call. Cook Team members will arrive early on Saturday morning, cooking and preparing breakfast for all students and volunteers, and they will also be able to help facilitate bagging lunches for students as they arrive from their service opportunities on Saturday afternoon. 
  

Host Team 

• Host Team helps set the tone when the students arrive for each of our 3 sessions at The Call. Host Team ensures snacks and waters are in place, makes sure people know where to go, and welcomes students with a warm, inviting presence. They will also help check-in the majority of our students on Friday Night, as well as those arriving late at subsequent sessions. There are opportunities to serve on the Host Team on Friday Night, Saturday Morning, and Saturday Night.
