Lent is the 40-day period between Ash Wednesday and the Saturday before Easter. Lent is a season in the life of the church where we are invited to turn our hearts toward Christ in repentance and in preparation for Holy Week. The 40 days represents the time Jesus spent in the wilderness, enduring the temptation of Satan, and preparing to begin his ministry.
During Lent we are given an opportunity to go deeper with God. We do this by resetting the rhythm of our lives through intentional prayer, fasting, Bible reading, reflection, and being in community with other believers. We invite you to join us in this sacred tradition, and we pray that you would experience God in new and powerful ways during this time.
